About Veronica

I’m Veronica Wolff-Casey, an Ayurvedic medical practitioner, Ayurvedic yoga therapist, chef, educator, and host of The How to Take Care of Yourself Podcast. I help people restore metabolic clarity, digestive strength, and trust in themselves when conventional wellness advice has stopped working.

My work lives at the intersection of Ayurveda, food, yoga, nervous system regulation, and modern metabolic health. Which is really just a fancy way of saying that I’m interested in what actually helps.

Not what sounds virtuous. Not what looks good on Instagram. Not what worked for someone else’s body, in someone else’s season, with someone else’s metabolism. What actually helps this body, in this life, right now.

I came to this work through decades of study, teaching, cooking, clinical practice, and my own long, inconvenient relationship with bodies that refuse to behave according to theory. I’ve studied Ayurveda in the U.S. and India, taught yoga for more than twenty years, cooked professionally, supported retreat kitchens, trained practitioners, edited Ayurvedic health writing, and worked with clients whose symptoms did not fit neatly into anyone’s favorite belief system.

Over time, I stopped trying to keep Ayurveda in a museum case. Ayurveda was never meant to be fragile. It is a living science of digestion, timing, pattern recognition, food, energy, seasonality, and adaptation. It should be able to sit at the table with insulin resistance, menopause, protein needs, blood sugar, nervous system dysregulation, low-carb eating, and the very real metabolic mess of modern life.

So that is where I work now.

I teach what I call the Metabolic Reset Method: a grounded, meat-inclusive, digestion-centered approach to healing that blends classical Ayurvedic wisdom with modern metabolic strategy.

This is not diet culture in Sanskrit drag. It is not “just eat plants,” “just cut carbs,” or “balance your doshas” while ignoring your blood sugar, sleep, muscle, hormones, hunger, stress, and actual lived life. It is deeper and more practical than that.

The people I work with are usually smart, capable, and exhausted from trying harder than anyone should have to. They have read the books, followed the plans, bought the supplements, cleaned up the diet, tracked the symptoms, blamed themselves, and wondered why their body still feels like it has changed the locks.

I help them stop guessing.

Together, we look at food, digestion, metabolism, sleep, stress, movement, seasonality, and the subtle ways a body loses trust after years of being pushed, underfed, overfed, moralized, purified, ignored, or micromanaged. Then we rebuild in a way that makes sense.

My work includes one-on-one metabolic health support, group coaching, yoga, seasonal education, writing, podcasting, recipes, and practical tools for people who are done with wellness theater and ready for something more honest.

Your body is not broken. It may just be deeply tired of bad instructions.
